Thank you for your interest in Consumers Energy’s charitable giving.

Last year, Michigan nonprofits received $3.8 million in contributions from Consumers Energy, its employees, retirees, foundation, and CMS Energy, the parent company of Consumers Energy.

Our Volunteer Investment Program grants totaled $220,150 to 446 nonprofits for which our employees and retirees volunteer.

Our Matching Gifts Program also provided more than $146,700 across the state to match employee and retiree donations to:

• 31 educational institutions
• 19 community foundations
• 69 food banks,food pantries and homeless shelters
