Consumers Energy offers all qualified suppliers an opportunity to join our vendor base. We seek exceptional contractors and suppliers that can add value by delivering high quality products and services to reduce our operating costs.
Through 2015, we’ll increase our spending with Michigan-based suppliers by $250 million, or $50 million a year, as part of a new effort to attract and expand business opportunities throughout the state. That’s in addition to the $2 billion we already spend each year as one of Michigan’s largest purchasers of goods and services.
