It is the policy of Consumers Energy Company to provide an opportunity for small businesses, woman-owned business enterprises and minority-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs) to compete on an equal basis for materials and services utilized by our company.  No potential suppliers will be precluded from consideration on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age or national origin.

Consumers Energy is actively involved with the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMBDC) and the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Supplier Diversity Committee.
