Grant Application Process

The Consumers Energy Foundation operates with an annual, calendar-year budget. Our nine-member board of directors normally meets quarterly to review grant requests that have been reviewed by the Foundation groups and submitted for consideration.

If we need more information during the evaluation process, we will contact the person listed on your application.

If your grant application was submitted to the board for review, we will notify you by mail of the outcome of your grant proposal following the quarterly meetings. We strive to provide a response to successful proposals within six to eight weeks.
