We’re a medium-sized business with major water heating bills. That’s why we’re going high efficiency. We need to cut costs, and it’s a no-brainer.
When you need a natural gas water heater, choosing energy efficient models can provide more heat per dollar. That saves your business money for years.
In areas of infrequent water heating use, consider “tankless” water heaters to reduce “standby” storage costs and waste
Increase energy efficiency by putting insulation blankets on water heaters seven years of age and older. Also, put pipe wrap on the first 3 feet of the heated water “out” pipe.
Install low-flow faucets, showerheads and dishwashing equipment in any on-site facilities, and repair any water leaks promptly.
Set water temperatures only as hot as needed to prevent scalds and save energy.
The Incentive Application includes all of the forms you need. Only Consumers Energy business customers are eligible to receive incentives. Please be sure to follow the step-by-step instructions on the cover sheet.
