
Consumers Energy offers several convenient and free options for paying your bill electronically. Use of any of the eServices payment options automatically enrolls you in our free eBill service and you no longer will receive a paper bill. The full amount of your monthly bill will be charged automatically to your Visa® card on the date your bill is presented. This service can be used only for recurring charges, not one-time monthly payments. This service is provided to residential customers only using a Visa card. Visa debit cards with personal identification numbers may not be used for this payment option. We'll send you an e-mail when your electronic bill (eBill) is ready to view. In addition to the payment options managed by Consumers Energy for our eBill customers, you can also pay your energy bill using a credit card for a fee. Consumers Energy has arranged for EDS ePay, a third-party payment processor, to accept one-time credit card payments.
EDS ePay charges a convenience fee for credit and debit card payments. EDS ePay will provide you the fee amount. You may use the following credit cards for payment: Visa® and MasterCard®. Debit cards are also accepted, but only if they are issued by one of the credit card companies listed above and have an expiration date.
