Consumers Energy Company is requesting proposals for up to 100 MW and 245,000 MWh of renewable capacity, energy and Michigan Renewable Energy Credits (MREC) for deliveries that begin in 2012 and up to 150 MW and 370,000 MWh of renewable capacity, energy and MRECs for deliveries that begin in 2014. This request is intended to fulfill a portion of the Company’s renewable capacity and renewable energy requirements specified in Michigan Public Act 295 of 2008 (PA 295) (

All interested respondents were requested to submit a Notice of Intent no later than 5:00 PM EST on May 21, 2009. Proposals are requested to be submitted no later than 12:00 noon EST on December 4, 2009
. Guidelines for the proposals are included in the RFP which can be found on Consumers Energy Company’s website (http:/www.consumersenergy.com) by selecting “For Business”, then “Electric Power Notices” and lastly, “Requests for Proposals”.
