The amount of enrolled and active load for Consumers Energy's Electric Customer Choice Program has reached the 10 percent cap. The 2009 load cap of 3,717 GWh was reached on Aug. 14, 2009.

Enrollments of valid accounts still will be accepted. However, these enrolled accounts won't be able to go to active status unless space is made available under the cap by customers now being served by alternate suppliers returning to full utility service.
