When families fall into crisis—unemployment, homelessness, or other challenges—day-to-day living can be a struggle. We support organizations whose mission is to aid and comfort those in need.
We’re proud to support local Michigan communities. Places where you love to live, work and play. That’s why we provide grants to improve parks, plazas, zoos and libraries and support local arts and culture.
We are always curious, asking questions and digging for answers. We want to make our state even better for generations to come. Our grants support a wide range of education programs from early childhood to higher education. We strive to empower our Michigan students to learn and grow in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).Learn More
The natural beauty of Michigan is important to us. The Consumers Energy Foundation supports organizations that seek to protect and programs that emphasize preservation, environmental education and stewardship of our state’s land, water and air with an emphasis on collaborative programs that strengthen ties between businesses and communities. We’re proud of our contributions to restore watershed, remove invasive species, protect farmland and foster environmental education.
Providing safe, reliable energy for Michigan families and employers is our business. Much of our corporate giving goes toward keeping the heat and lights on for low-income families. We work with The Salvation Army and local Community Action Agencies to identify need and administer aid.
