A Bright Future Begins Here

We all love our state’s lakes, rivers, forests and pure air. They set Michigan apart as the gem of the Great Lakes. So with your input we created our Clean Energy Plan - a road map for protecting the environment by embracing innovative affordable energy solutions. By 2040, we plan to achieve net zero carbon emissions and meet 90 percent of Michigan’s energy needs with clean resources. But we can't do it without you.

Share Your Ideas at a Local Open House

We'd like your thoughts and ideas about Michigan’s energy future. That's why we're hosting a series of open houses around the state this spring to gather input.

Each open house will be scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with brief presentations every 30 minutes.

Meet members of our team, ask questions, offer suggestions and learn more about the role you can play and how our Clean Energy Plan helps you.

The Clean Energy Plan lays the foundation for a cleaner, leaner energy future — but we’re not done exploring and innovating to help our customers. We’re working through the state’s Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) process to find new possibilities and technologies that can make the Clean Energy Plan even stronger by 2021.
