Saving energy is smart business, and with the help of Energy Smart Grocer, eligible stores can significantly reduce their energy use with refrigeration, lighting and food service equipment retrofits.

Our virtual assessment allows you to receive expert guidance to improve your store's energy efficiency without our staff entering your store.

Participation is easy. As you take the energy auditor through a virtual walkthrough of your store, they will provide guidance on what to look for and ask you to take pictures of specific equipment. The auditor will then review your collected data and may ask a few final questions about your building’s operations. That’s it! Your energy auditor will then compile an energy assessment report within a few weeks with recommendations on how you can save energy and money.
