Analytical Chemistry

We Find Solutions in Complex Problems

We offer accurate, value-priced expertise in multiple areas. Analytical Chemistry specializes in determining inorganic and organic compounds in complex matrices, while the Operational Chemistry section focuses on improving the quality of your steam cycle and process troubleshooting.

Analytical Chemistry provides determinations for a variety of customer needs using a wide range of modern techniques, including: Fluorescence spectrometry, Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS), inductively coupled plasma/mass spectrometry (ICP/ MS), inductively coupled plasma/optical emission spectrometry (ICP/OES), gas chromatography and ion chromatography in addition to classical wet chemistry techniques. Field sampling services are available for all laboratory test methods.

Analyses are conducted by approved Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MI-DEQ), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) test methods in addition to meeting the requirements of 10CFR50 Appendix B for nuclear-related work. Quality is assured through periodic audits and by participation in a wide range of performance-testing programs offered through independent third-party providers. This means you’ll have the confidence necessary to make important business decisions.
