• Leave the area right away.
• Go to a safe place, preferably in the fresh air.
• Don’t try to locate the source of the leak.
• Don’t use an electric device, even cell phones.

When safely outside, call 9-1-1 first, then call us at 800-477-5050.

Important steps to protect you and your family

1. Install a CO alarm. If you don't have one, you can purchase a CO alarm from our online store. 
2. Never use a generator indoors at home or work.
3. Inspect your furnace every year
   • Change air filters at least every other month
4. Be sure your chimney and vent pipes are not blocked with any objects.
5. Never use a gas stove or a charcoal grill to heat your home.
