Keeping Safe During Winter Storms

If you see a downed wire, please stay at least 25 feet away from it, and anything it is touching. Once you are safe, call 9-1-1. Then call us at 800-477-5050.

Don’t play with fire. Skip the candles: don’t use candles during a storm, as they can be a major fire hazard.

Think about getting and charging an emergency battery for your phone so that you’ll have charge if there’s ever an outage.

Our mobile storm units are ready to supply essential equipment to the heart of outages, to get your power back on as quickly as possible.

Safety Volunteers

Hundreds of our employees volunteer to help ensure safety during a storm by serving as downed wire guards.

Employee Training

We provide continuous technical and safety training so that we’re always ready to get to work for you.
