With the Consumers Energy PowerMIDrive™ program, commercial customers can earn a rebate of up to $70,000 for the installation of a DCFC charger on their property.
The DC Fast Charger program is fully subscribed, and we are no longer accepting new applications. Look for another round of DC Fast Charger rebates coming this fall.
How to Qualify

Own or have permission to install DCFC on the property
Install UL Listed, ENERGY STAR® Certified DCFC to achieve minimum power capacity of 150kW with one charge port or shared power between two charge ports
Agree to maintain 97% operating time of the chargers for first 5 years of operation
Make Ready Upgrades
Consumers Energy will pay for, own and maintain all electric infrastructure from the transformer to the customer's meter (TTM) infrastructure for selected DCFC rebate applicants.
Through the PowerMIFleet program, Consumers Energy will pay for, own and maintain all electric infrastructure from the transformer to the customer’s meter (TTM) infrastructure.
