Give the Home a Score

To qualify all homes are to be inspected by Certified RESNET Home Energy Rater. Participating Builders work with a third-party Home Energy Rating Score (HERS) inspector to:

  • Provides a comprehensive home energy report
  • Test air-tightness of home, leakiness of HVAC distribution system, and evaluate insulation
  • Register home on RESNET National Registry
  • HERS-rated homes are sold for, on average, 2.7% more than comparable unrated homes.
