The Summer Rate encourages you to take advantage of lower-cost electricity available at certain times of the day.
Just like other commodities or goods, electricity prices rise when demand is high. During hot summer days, increased air conditioner use drives those costs up. By shifting energy use—such as dishwashing, laundry, and cooking—to low demand times, you can take advantage of lower rates and reduce your overall bill.
Rates shown do not include power supply cost recovery (PSCR) factor, system access charges, applicable surcharges and taxes.
